I would say that I miss the days when I was able to watch TV uncritically but those days have never existed, so that would be a lie, and why start my first post with anything but the truth? A dear friend suggested submitting my thoughts to The Mary Sue for publication. I didn’t know if anyone other than her and maybe my mom would be interested in my feelings about Coco or Wayward Sisters, but in the end I decided to go for it, and I’m glad that I did. Writing those pieces was cathartic and just a ton of fun. I wish I had done something like that sooner and I wish I had the time to do it more often, but I’m very proud of these pieces and I hope you’ll take a moment to check them out!
